Legal notice
This website is run by Manuel Lorente Gálvez, Calle Allue Salvador 22, 50830 Villanueva de Gállego (Zaragoza), Spain (Spanish tax ID 17747339X), contact hola@guitle.com, website guitle.com. Activity: price comparison for musical instruments and affiliate advertising. Hosting: GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.).
Terms of use
guitle is a price comparison site: it doesn't sell anything. It shows the prices shops publish on their websites and links to them so you buy directly from them. Purchase, delivery, warranty and returns are each shop's responsibility.
- Prices are indicative. We check prices regularly, but they can change at any time. The valid price is always the one the shop shows when you order.
- No guarantee of accuracy. We take care to get every product, price and stock level right, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, let us know.
- Trademarks and images. Trademarks, product names and images belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products.
- guitle content. guitle's design, logo, text and data compilations belong to its owner. Bulk copying or commercial use without permission is not allowed.
Affiliate links
Some links to shops are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, the shop may pay guitle a small commission. The price is the same for you. Commissions don't affect the order of results: shops are always sorted by price, lowest first.
Privacy policy
guitle doesn't ask for any personal data to use the site: no sign-up, no newsletters, no analytics or advertising tools that follow you. We only count visits anonymously and, if you ask for a price alert, we keep your email address for that alert.
- Price alerts. If you ask us to tell you when a product's price drops, we store your email address, the product, its price that day and your target price if you give one. We use them only to send the confirmation email and the alerts for that product; never for marketing, and we never share them. Legal basis: your consent, given when you request the alert and confirm your email. They're stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Google Ireland Ltd., server in Madrid) and emails are sent from our mailbox hola@guitle.com (DonDominio, Spain). Unconfirmed alerts are deleted after 7 days; confirmed ones are kept until you unsubscribe with the link in every email, which deletes it straight away, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Preferences in your browser. Filters or the view you choose are saved in your own browser's local storage (localStorage). They're never sent to any server.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). Like any web server, GitHub may log each visitor's IP address for technical and security reasons. GitHub participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
- Visit counter. Each page adds 1 to an anonymous counter: the day, the page viewed, the site you came from (for example google.com), what you type into the catalogue search and, if you click through to a shop, the shop's name. No cookies, no IP address, nothing that identifies you. The counters are stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Google Ireland Ltd.), on a server in the European Union (Madrid).
- No other third-party requests. Fonts, charts and product photos are all served from guitle.com.
- Going to a shop. When you click through to a shop you leave guitle, and that shop's privacy policy applies.
Your rights. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by emailing hola@guitle.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or to the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos. Data controller: the owner named in the legal notice.
Cookies
guitle doesn't use cookies, either its own or third-party ones, which is why you don't see a cookie banner. We only use your browser's local storage to remember your preferences. The shops we link to may use their own cookies on their sites.
